Preschool-age children have a chance to experience some of the less noticeable aspects of Nature on Thursday. There will be an event focusing on the insects of Lake Red Rock starting at 10am. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says they will be walking some of the trails and seeing what insects they can find. She tells us that most kids have no problem picking up the insects, it’s the adults who have reservations about it. The activity will last about an hour. Adults must accompany their children, and participants can meet in the North Overlook Picnic Area.
