The City of Knoxville is replacing Jackson Street and will have the road closed in two different phases as a result of the project. Public Works Director Jeff May says that beginning tomorrow, Jackson Street from Gebhardt Street to the west driveway at the Lodge of Westridge will be closed. When work is completed there, construction will begin from the east driveway at the Lodge of Westridge to the frontage road parallel to Lincoln Street. May says work should be completed by July 15th.
