The National Weather Service reports hot and humid conditions are expected throughout the work week with highs in the 90s to around 100, with heat indices of around 105 degrees expected each day. Thursday will likely be the hottest day with heat indices from 105-110 degrees. In addition, low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 70s through the week, providing little relief from the heat. Chances for precipitation return for late in the weekend, with cooler temperatures on tap for next week.
