Area families have a unique opportunity to take in a foreign exchange student for a year. Worldlink is looking for families in south central Iowa to host students for the school year. Terry and Cindy Fenoglio have hosted a student twice now. They say that it’s a very enriching experience. The students that are selected go through a rigorous application process to earn the opportunity to study abroad and are typical bright, ambitious students that speak English well. The Fenoglios say that you must be able to provide a loving home environment, a bed, and transportation for school for the students; the scholarship typically provides enough spending money for the student.
