The Affordable Care Act was passed by the U.S. Supreme Court, but what does that mean for the upcoming elections? Central College Political Science Professor Andrew Green says what might end up being more important, is who talks about it less. He says some opinion polls are showing the public is sick of hearing about it and wants to move on, but both candidates need the issue to be on the plate. It was President Barack Obama’s primary piece of legislation from his first term, and for challenger Mitt Romney it has served as a rallying cry to attract members of the Republican party who don’t like him as a candidate.
