A program at the Knoxville Library Tuesday afternoon will give some insight into how many Iowans survived the Great Depression. “Iowa History in a Cloth Bag” will talk about the multiple ways Iowa women used cloth bags in order make clothes, quilts, sacks, and other items. The program is being sponsored by the Friends of the Library and Humanities Iowa. It begins at 1:30 today at the Knoxville Library.
