The Pella Rural Fire Department responded to a report of fire east of Pella at around 5:30 last night. The fire was an electrical fire that started in the garage of a home on 180th st. There were no flames visible from outside the home but smoke was filling the garage. The fire department was able to stop the fire, and then checked to make sure the fire hadn’t spread further into the walls of the garage. There were no injuries.
