A Knoxville man was sentenced to five years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to extortion earlier this year. 58-year-old Johnny Bruce Wallace was accused of entering Valley Bank in Knoxville in October of last year with a cloth over his hand. He then pointed it at the teller, telling her he was sticking her up. He later fled without receiving without any money and was arrested shortly afterward without a weapon on him. Wallace pled down from his original charge of 2nd Degree Robbery
