A small grass fire was caused by a down power line this afternoon in rural Marion County. At around 12:20, the Knoxville Rural Fire Department responded to the corner of 160th and Jersey, near Hickory Ridge, at the report of a down power line. They quickly put out the small blaze, which caused minimal damage. Also responding to the scene were Rangers from the Corps of Engineers, Marion County Emergency Management, and MidAmerican Energy.
