It feels awfully early to be thinking about a season opener on the gridiron, but a pair of local football teams are doing just that this week.  For PCM and Melcher-Dallas, this is “Week Zero”.  The Saints begin the 2012 season on Friday against Colo-Nesco; while the Mustangs added a tenth game to their schedule this season in their road match-up at Roland-Story.  Friday’s contest against the Norse will also be the first KNIA/KRLS football broadcast of the season, as PCM’s game will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS.
