The start of the school year is nearly upon us. In Knoxville, children in kindergarten through eighth grade have their Meet Your Teacher night tomorrow from 4-6pm.

Laptop rollouts for middle and high school students will take place next week. Middle School Principal Brian McNeill says new students, including sixth graders, will need to watch a 30 minute video about laptop use at either 8:30 or 5pm next Wednesday. Parents who watched the video last year with a different student don’t need to view it again. If you cannot come at either of those times, contact the Middle School at 842-3315 to set up an appointment.

Returning students at the Middle School will receive their computers next Wednesday as well as long as their Acknowledgement Form is signed. High School Principal Kevin Crawford says high school students will also receive their laptops next Wednesday.
