During the week of August 05, 2012 to August 11, 2012, the Pella Police Department received
156 calls for service, issued 36 citations, 53 warnings and 31 parking tickets. There were 6
arrests made resulting in 7 charges.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS

During the week of August 05, 2012 to August 11, 2012, the communications center fielded
349 telephone calls, assisted 70 people at the window and fielded 29 incoming calls on the 911
system.

ARRESTS
• On 08/05/12 Pao Yang, 33, of Forest Lake was charged with O.W.I. Yang was
incarcerated for the night.
• On 08/05/12 Lloyd J. Swank, 19, of Otley was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia. Swank was cited and released with a court date.
• On 08/06/12 Staci M. Duinink, 23, of Pella was charged with theft. Duinink was cited
and released with a court date.
• On 08/06/12 a male juvenile of Pella was charged with theft. The juvenile was cited and
released with a court date.
• On 08/06/12 a female juvenile of Pella was charged with theft and possession of tobacco
underage. The female was cited and released with a court date.
• On 08/11/12 Antonio Jimenez, 24, of Ottumwa was charged with driving while
suspended. Jimenez was cited and released with a court date.
