A head-on collision south of Pella left two cars in the ditch and law enforcement looking for one of the drivers who fled the scene. The accident occurred after 8pm last night at the intersection of T-15 and T-17. A stolen car collided head on with a truck driven by Jeffrey Moon of Knoxville and the driver of the stolen vehicle, Christian D. Carmona of San Pedro, California, fled from the scene and was located by the Pella Police Department. There were no serious injuries,  but Carmona was transported to Pella Regional Health Center by the Pella Ambulance. The Pella Police Department, Pella Ambulance, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene.
