The Pella Varsity Football Team took to the streets of Pella earlier this month to work on several community service projects The team worked on the grounds at Pella Regional Health Center, all of Pella’s parks, and at Lake Red Rock. They also worked on their field, landscaping the team entrance in memory of Bill Van Horn. The community service worked as a fundraiser for the team as well, with sponsors supporting the players. They were able to raise money for away meals, gatorade, and apparel.
