The remnants of Hurricane Isaac continue to move through Missouri and have a chance to bring heavy rain to south-central Iowa. Weather Eye Meteorologist Paul Trambley tells KNIA/KRLS News that based on how the system was tracking Friday, Marion County will be on the edge of the system and its questionable on whether we’ll see rain. If we do receive rain, it may become very heavy. Trambley says that the heaviest rains will bring upwards of six inches to western Illinois and eastern Missouri, and southeast Iowa could see four inches. At the edge of the storm, we could still see more than two inches.
