The City of Knoxville will gear up for this weekend’s Iowa/Iowa State game when RVTV rolls into town on Wednesday morning. Chamber Director Larissa Van Donselaar encourages everyone to get down to the square and wear some team colors to help celebrate the occasion. Activities begin at 4pm Wednesday afternoon with numerous activities. Robinson Street on the square will be closed Tuesday night to start the set-up. All streets but Main Street will be closed beginning at 2:30 to allow for room for the rest of the activities that day. There will be a dunk tank, football challenge, children’s activities, golf cart races, face painting, and many more activities. Van Donselaar says that they hope to have an especially large crowd for the pep rally at 6pm.
