A rural Indianola man pled guilty Friday morning in a Christmas Day arson incident. 46-year-old David Allan Brommel received a sentence of up to 10 years in prison as a result. Brommel set fire to the Department of Human Services building in Knoxville Christmas morning. The fire was discovered before it became out-of-control and caused just minor damage. Brommel was also ordered to pay around $7000 in restitution. He’ll be transported to the Warren County Jail later this month, where he faces multiple felony charges related to methamphetamine.
