The Knoxville Police Department has identified a suspect in the string of Labor Day weekend car thefts and break-ins. Lieutenant Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News that charges have been filed on the person in question. Fuller says they just have one suspect at this time, and that they believe all of the thefts and break-ins that occurred on the morning of September 1st were related. Fuller says that they had an especially good public response from photos and video of a suspect that were posted here on kniakrls.com and on their Facebook page. Within 20 minutes, Fuller says they were receiving multiple calls about the person in question. KNIA/KRLS will bring you more information on this case as soon as it becomes official.
