The 2nd annual Nana Jana Fun Run takes place tomorrow at Dan-D Farms, south of Knoxville. Dan-D Farms owner Dan Dennison organized the first race last year to bring awareness to ovarian cancer, a disease to which he lost his wife in 2010. He hopes the run will make women knowledgeable of ovarian cancer, which is also called the silent killer due to its vague symptoms. Last year, more than 130 people participated and $6600 was raised during the race for cancer research. The race takes place at the Dan-D Farms corn maze, meaning that the five kilometer course will be change this year.

Online registration continues today. Registration will occur on the day of the race, beginning at 8am on-site at Dan-D Farms. The Big Red Radio will also be at Dan-D Farms, providing information to the crowd as well as some music. The race is scheduled to start at 9am.
