B-G-M’s Kyle Gritsch and Jack Kline combined for over 350 yards and seven touchdowns as the running game proved to be too much for the Trojans, falling 54 – 7.

On the other side of the ball, B-G-M’s defense grounded Pleasantville’s running game, holding running back Trey Busick to negative yardage until late in the fourth quarter. Patrick Sheehey came up big late in the first half for the Trojans, intercepting a pass after the Trojans turned the ball over on downs deep in Bears territory. The resulting drive culminated in a 27 yard passing play to Sheehey for the Trojans’ only score of the game.

“That was a great individual play by him,” Trojan head coach, Gabe Bakker said. “He’s turned into a pretty darned good receiver.”

The Trojans drop to 0 – 5 on the season and 0 – 3 in district play. Pleasantville will have a tough task ahead of them for their homecoming game against Lynnville-Sully next Friday in week 6 action.
