Multiple walks to fight world hunger have been scheduled for next month. CROP Walks in Knoxville and Pella are being held on Sunday, October 7th. In Bussey, it’s October 21st. Money raised for the walk is split between a local food pantry, such as Helping Hands or the Pella Food Shelf, and Church World Services, who fight worldwide hunger. The walk begins at 1:30 in Knoxville and Bussey and 3pm in Pella.
