KNIA/KRLS will be holding our candidate forums next month. In Knoxville, the forum will take place on Tuesday, October 9th at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. In Pella, it’ll be at the Community Center on Thursday, October 11th. Both start at 7pm and can be heard live on KNIA/KRLS and kniakrls.com. They will also be placed online to be heard on demand on kniakrls.com.

The Knoxville forum will feature Iowa House District 28 candidates Megan Suhr (D) and Greg Heartsill (R) as well as Senate District 14 candidates Amy Sinclair (R) and Dick Schrad (D). In Pella, Iowa Senate District 40 candidates Tim Tripp (D) and Ken Roozenboom (R) will be in attendance. Guy Vander Linden (R) is running unopposed in House District 79 and will be given a few moments to speak in Pella. Unopposed county election candidates who won their primaries earlier this year will also have a moment to speak at either of the forums.

Dr. Bob Leonard will moderate the events. The public is invited to attend both forums to suggest questions and hear responses from our Iowa House and Senate candidates.
