After finally treading through deep water in the first two-thirds of their schedule, the Pleasantville Trojans football squad is looking to raise the “W” flag tonight against Southeast Warren. The Trojans are facing teams in the bottom half of Class A District 6 over their next three games starting this evening, and morale at practice has been up, according to Trojans head coach, Gabe Bakker. He said that it is crucial for his team to win the turnover battle tonight. “Like every game we’ve had, it’s going to come down to winning the turnover battle,” Bakker said. “We haven’t done that at all this year. We’ve turned the ball over way too much, and that cannot happen tonight.” All the Trojans can look to do for the remainder of this year is get some momentum going for next season, as they’ve been mathematically eliminated from any postseason discussion. Gabe Bakker and his group of guys will kickoff at seven, and you can stream the game live at kniakrls.com, with Kris Krug and Bob Miller on play-by-play duties. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff 30 minutes later.
