The Knoxville City Council is meeting in special session tonight as they continue to revise two ordinances that will have impacts on planning and zoning in Knoxville. City Manager Harold Stewart says that he expects the new sign ordinances will pass. It’s passage will allow Knoxville High School to place their new granite sign on the corner of their property. Stewart says the accessory structure ordinance may take more fleshing out. Last week, the Council asked for the ordinance to be more detailed. The Council does support the idea of the accessory structure ordinance, which Assistant City Manager Dylan Feik says will make it easier to build things like patios or sheds on your property. The meeting begins at 6:15 at City Hall.
