About 20 people were out on Washington St. in Pella over the weekend, working to get the city set for next spring. It’s time for tulip bulbs to go in the ground, and thousands of tulips needed to be planted on Washington. That stretch of road is an important one as far as tulips go, its the gateway to town for many people flocking to Pella for Tulip Time. Some kids in the Pella Christian Cross Country program were out volunteering, along with others in the community.
