The Marion County Board of Supervisors will consider a funding request from Fields of Our Future during their regular meeting this morning. Fields for Our Future is the group that is in charge of the Pella Sports Park Project. The Supervisors will also have discussion and action as necessary regarding a construction permit for a confinement feeding operation in Lake Prairie Township. The Supervisors meeting begins at 8:30 Monday morning at the Courthouse.

The Supervisors also heard a request for a construction permit for a confinement operation in Lake Prairie Township. Environmental Health Manager Cory Frank told the Board that it appears the confinement operation met the scoring matrix requirements to get a building permit. Frank says that the DNR has the final approval of any permit process.
