The Next Chapter is continuing its local author series as it hosts Dr. Michael Van Natta this evening. Dr. Van Natta is the long-time director of the Marion County Writers Workshop and is releasing his first novel Leo’s Birds. He describes the book as a story about those who are lost in the world and how they rediscover who they are.

Dr. Van Natta says that he’ll probably read a couple chapters at the event today, sign some copies, and answer questions. Nearwood Winery will also provide some wine and cheese. The event starts at 5:30 Thursday evening at the Next Chapter.
