Congressman Dave Loebsack was back in Knoxville one last time yesterday, meeting with residents during his 100 of Iowa Tour. Loebsack says there’s a clear distinction between himself and his opponent, Republican John Archer. Loebsack cited comments Archer made in May, where he said one of America’s weaknesses is that 50% of people expect a government handout. Loebsack says that he’s going to fight for 100% of the people, saying that people like veterans and senior citizens are not weaknesses but a great strength.
