Two juveniles were transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics with moderate injuries after their car struck a parked bulldozer. The accident occurred just before 9pm tonight. Knoxville Police say the car was driving west on Madison Street when it struck the bulldozer that was parked on the side of the road near the auditorium construction site.
Knoxville Fire/Rescue Deputy Chief Ben Truetken tells KNIA/KRLS News that the injuries did not appear to be life threatening. The bulldozer was parked in a legal location under a street light on Madison. It does not have reflectors on the back of it. The accident remains under investigation. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol also responded to the scene.
