Knoxville Assistant City Manager Dylan Feik says that beginning on Monday, Kent Street will be closed from Rock Island to Reno Street. Construction crews will be working on a private sanitary sewer repair, creating need for the closure. Feik says that the construction company is in contact with the Knoxville bus barn, as Kent Street is a major bus route toward Northstar. He adds that the street will be opened by the week’s end.
