Central’s Geisler Library has a collection of artifacts from Martin Luther King Jr.’s visit to Central’s campus in 1967. Natalie Hutchinson with the library says that it includes things like pictures, letters between the college president and King’s secretary, letters from the public, and even things like the microphone he spoke into. She says they continue to find items to add to the collection, like a photo of the start of the speech in a newspaper archive.
