National Library Week gets underway tomorrow. Knoxville Library Director Roslin Thompson says its a week to celebrate your local library and consider its changing role. Thompson explains to KNIA/KRLS News that they do more than just check out books now. She says that public access to computers has also become a large part of their services, as people use them to write resumes and do research. The Friends of the Knoxville Library will be having their annual book sale Thursday-Saturday as part of National Library Week. The Library will also be hosting a strategic planning session Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. For more information on that, call 828-0585.
