The Knoxville City Council will vote on the first consideration of an inflow and infiltration ordinance during their regular meeting on Monday evening. The ordinance would require property owners to disconnect items such as roof or foundation drains from entering into private sewer lines or face a 50 dollar monthly fee. This would decrease the amount of wastewater treated by the city. The meeting starts at 6:15 at Knoxville City Hall. You can hear it live on 1320 KNIA.
