One former Pella resident, Ross Polking did run in the Boston Marathon yesterday. His father, Doug Polking, director of Pella Ambulance told KNIA/KRLS that fortunately Ross had completed the race and was no longer in the area when the explosions took place. Ross now lives in Omaha.
