To put it nicely, Coach Mark Howard of the Pella girls’ soccer team put his younger girls into the game halfway through the first 40 minutes, and his team won 10 – 0 over Knoxville on Tuesday. The Lady Dutch scored four goals in the first four minutes, including one tally 30 seconds into the game. Allie DeMeulenaere and Bri Schroder each had a hat trick, Kelsey Brown had a pair of goals, and Jillian Sagers (Say-grrs) and Cathryn Yoder each scored one apiece for the Lady Dutch, who are now 9 – 1 on the season, and have scored 31 unanswered goals in their last six games. Pella’s girls will take a break for Tulip Time and be back in action at home this Tuesday against Norwalk.
