For the sixth straight year, the Central football team is on top of the Iowa Conference when it comes to academics. Eight players were named on the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society’s list, which recognizes senior football players who are starters or significant reserves and hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20. The eight players from Central is the most out of any college or university in Iowa and is the seventh highest total in the entire country.
