Pella is currently participating in the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s special Traffic Enforcement Program, or sTEP, until June 2. The program raises safety awareness. Drivers can expect to see an increased number of police officers out on the roads during this time. The program happens throughout the year and usually coordinates with a holiday.
