The Pella City Council has approved a voluntary annexation petition from Vermeer Corporation. The annexation territory is about 38 acres and will contain the Early Learning Center that is in development. With the annexation, the city of Pella is now formally operating in both Marion and Mahaska Counties. The City of Pella is currently in the site plan process in the development stages for the Early Learning Center.
