Arrests have been made in a burglary in Knoxville. Knoxville Police Lt. Aaron Fuller and Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholt tell KNIA/KRLS News that on Sunday, May 19, Knoxville Police were called to Coast Hardware in Knoxville in regards to a burglary. Numerous firearms and ammunition were stolen.
Yesterday, officers received information that led them to suspects, and a multi-agency investigation involving the Knoxville PD, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the ATF was launched. After working all night conducting interviews, the officers were able to recover items stolen in the burglary, which led to charges being filed against James Orville Morris Jr. 23, of Knoxville and two juvenile males. All were charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree. Additional charges are pending.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Knoxville PD or the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
