Fireworks will once again be a part of Knoxville’s 4th of July celebration this summer. The Knoxville City Council last week approved allocating $3860 toward the cause. This came after the Knoxville Fireworks Foundation worked to collect more than $6000 in an effort to bring fireworks back to the community. The group raised their funds through can drives, waiting tables, and donations. The fireworks show is planned to take place at Willetts Drive.
