Monday night, the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force, along with the Monroe Police Department, executed a drug search warrant at 303 South Jasper St in Monroe. Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized, resulting in the arrest of six individuals who were all taken to the Jasper County Jail.
The six individuals are Justin Wielard, age 24 of Monroe, charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and fail to affix a drug tax stamp. Joshua Wielard, age 24 of Monroe, charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Amber Wielard, age 18 of Monroe, charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Nathan Ross, age 27 of Monroe, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Hayli Stire, age 21 of Montour, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Dustin Rushing, age 19 of Monroe, charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine is a Class “C” Felony, Possession with intent to deliver marijuana is a Class “D” Felony, Fail to affix drug tax stamp is a Class “D” Felony, Possession of marijuana is a Serious Misdemeanor, and Possession of drug paraphernalia is a Simple Misdemeanor.
The Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force is based in Des Moines and currently has 16 central Iowa agencies participating in the task force including the Jasper and Marion County Sheriff’s Offices, Knoxville, Newton, and Pella Police Departments.
