Race fans who attend the Front Row Challenge at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa will get a treat as Three Time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart will race in the Front Row Challenge. Promoter Terry McCarl says it is a big deal to have such a well-known driver run in a 360 sprint car. McCarl ads that if given the chance, Stewart says he will take the challenge of giving up his front row starting spot and try to win from the back. The Front Row Challenge is Monday August fifth and is part of Southern Iowa Sprint Week and will be sanctioned by the American Sprint Car Series. Tickets or infield party passes for both nights can be purchased by calling Front Row Challenge Enterprises at 515-957-0020. The next night is the USAC Ultimate Challenge Non Wing Race, featuring a match race for the first time ever in honor of the tenth anniversary of driver Keith Hutton’s death plus 305 winged sprints. McCarl says the USAC 360 race this year will bring a much higher car count with some of the best drivers in the country including Past Knoxville Nationals Winner Tim Schafer, Brian Brown and more.
