The Pella Regional Health Center’s Shining Star for June was recently awarded to Elaine Malek. Malek was nominated by a group of her co-workers who say she is always kind to patients and their families, while going out of her way to assist in any way possible. Malek received a $100 gift, a plaque, and is automatically nominated for the Shining Star of the Year award.
