For the fourth year in a row, Shane Stewart was the best 360 driver in the world as he won the 23rd Annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway last night. However, this time he had to hold on for dear life, literally as after a late race caution, his power steering hose blew causing him to lose all power steering in his car. Somehow he managed to guide it home ahead of Kevin Swindell and Kyle Larson who hotfooted it back from the Iowa Speedway after finishing fifth in the NASCAR Nationwide race earlier in the evening. Completing the top five was Brian Brown, who started 19th and ran to fourth, and Brad Sweet who along with Larson also ran in the Nationwide Series race in Newton. Stewart’s win give him five total 360 National titles. The action continues at the Knoxville Raceway tonight with the Second Annual Capitani Classic which is a 410 only show. KNIA/KRLS and kniakrls.com will have complete coverage starting with Race Night’s Live at 7:30.
