One of the five finalists selected for the second annual “Celebration of Iowa: Agriculture Art Award” is from Marion County. Autumn Elevator, a piece by Brian Roberts of Pella, will be on display at Café Baratta’s in the State Historical Museum of Iowa in Des Moines thru November 1st. Eligible participants had to be Iowa residents working in 2D or 3D media. First, Second and Third Place awards will be presented August 13th at the Iowa State Fair. $1,500 will be awarded for the top prize, second place will receive $1,000 and third will collect $750.
