Today, Lake Red Rock is hosting two events. First, the town beneath the lake will begin at 10 am at the Visitor’s Center. Learn about the town of Red Rock and it’s many colorful, pioneering people. A park ranger will guide you to catch a glimpse of this historic settlement now lying beneath the waters of the lake. Then at 1pm, kite flyers will meet at the North Overlook Beach. Catch the breeze off Lake Red Rock for some great kite flying fun! Bring your own kite, or kites can be purchased from the Red Rock Visitor Center. Both events are free, and no reservations are needed.
