The last night of sprint car racing has arrived at the Knoxville Raceway, and the 410 track championship race remains quite competitive. Bronson Maeschen holds a 59-point lead on Ian Madsen and a 66-point lead on Terry McCarl. In the 360 class, Clint Garner is a heavy favorite to clinch his record-breaking fifth consecutive track championship. Larry Ball, Jr. has wrapped up the 305 class. General Manager Brian Stickel says that following the races, they’re holding a cookout in the infield for fans. Everyone will get a free hamburger, and there will be live music as well. Stickel says it’s a way to say thank you to the sprint car fans that have supported them all season. You can hear the races live on KNIA/KRLS; pre-race coverage starts at 5:30 and race coverage at 7:30.
