A chance to meet candidates for state offices takes place this afternoon in Marion County. Gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Bob Krause and Secretary of State candidate Brad Anderson will be among those at the Marion County Democrats picnic Saturday. Gubernatorial candidate Tyler Olson will also have a representative, and Congressman Dave Loebsack will make an appearance. There will be brats and hamburgers served; guests are asked to bring a salad or dessert. The picnic also serves as a fundraiser, which includes a pie auction. The event runs from 1-to-4pm Saturday at the North Overlook Beach.
