The Pella Historical Society and Museum’s Fall Festival begins today. The three day event begins at 5pm, continues at 10am tomorrow, and will conclude with activities from 10am to 2pm Saturday. Allison Limke, Assistant to the Executive Director, says that the theme “Appel Pluk” means apple harvest. Limke adds that there will be a wide array of activities each day, with most revolving around the apple harvest theme. The Central Acapella group will be selling poffertjes, and splitting the funds with the Historical Society. Caramel apples, pies and cider will also be available for sale.
