Melcher-Dallas couldn’t get the offense going against a very tough Grandview Park Baptist squad, losing in straight sets in Bluegrass Conference action yesterday. Coach Tatum Starcevich says her girls did improve on blocking, which was one of her goals for the team coming into last night. The Saints fell 8 – 25, 8 – 25 and 10 – 25 to drop to 8 – 6 overall and 3 – 3 in league play. Melcher-Dallas’ girls are off until Tuesday when they travel to play another conference triangular against Moravia and Ankeny Christian Academy.
